Accounts
Do I need an account?
You can read published writing and send us a message without one. You need an account to submit writing, place orders, take exams or manage an organisation.
I didn't get the password reset email.
Check your spam folder, and make sure you entered the email you registered with. For your privacy, we show the same message whether or not an account exists for that email. Links expire after one hour.
Why was I signed out on my other phone?
Changing or resetting your password signs you out everywhere else, so nobody who knew the old password stays signed in.
Language
Can I write in Assamese?
Yes. Assamese text is stored and shown exactly as you type it, including ৰ and ৱ.
How do I switch language?
Use the language button at the top right of every page.
The services
When will the wall magazine, store, SHG tools and exams open?
They are being built now. This page will be updated as each one opens.
How are payments kept safe?
Payments will go through a licensed payment provider. Lagatiyal never sees or stores your card or bank details, and an order is marked paid only after the provider confirms the payment to our server.
Can other organisations see our SHG's records?
No. Each organisation's records are visible only to its own authorised members, unless a Lagatiyal administrator is helping you.
